  • A bientot…

I feel like such a nomad right now. I’ve packed my bag once again, and this time for a not-so-joyous event. I’ll be up in Donegal for the next few days to attend my aunt’s funeral, and when I return to Dublin on Friday, I’ll be heading to the airport for my flight to London, so understandably [...]

do you mind if I ask you a few questions?
what is it like there?(good, bad, decent etc)
what are the recent fashion trends there?

Sorry to hear about your Aunt. I know how it is to loose a loved one. Good luck and I hope things pick up. I'll remember you in my prayers. Sincerely, Amanda Jene.

    Hello Ms. Hermia,
You made your site so simple yet elegant.I see that your aunt passed away recently. That’s the kind of world that we live in now, a world where sickness and death are a part of life. Fortunately, it isn’t going to stay this way much longer!
I want to help people to really get to know Jehovah God, especially in these troubled times. Here is an important message for us from Him that is in the Bible: 4 He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away." (Revelation 21:4) (NIV)

Oh ...ok this is weird! I didn't know that Lovelyish has created a Xanga site for me ....

So sorry I haven't answered questions ...I didn't know there were any!

I've had a million posts since my aunt which weren't put up here, so I'm going fine and thank you for your lovely words!

@acst2.xanga I'm still slightly traumatised from the colouring experience ...but basically the hairdressers were evil and now I have this hideous red tint everytime the light hits my hair! *shudder* I asked for an ash brown ...red doesn't suit me.

@make-the-boredom-cease.xanga Lol hey ...ok ...here are your answers:
what is it like there?(good, bad, decent etc)
I love it! It's not huge, it's not super modern, but it's very homely and there's so much history here! The people are really friendly, although we have a lot of Polish workers in the country now, and they're kinda reserved but the actually Irish people will be really nice and helpful and hilarious! We're also a sarcastic nation so don't be offended by anything that's said to you!
what are the recent fashion trends there?

Lol, uhm ....mullets are in and so are leggings and not-big-enough-tees ...lol, but that's just for the try-hard teens! In general though, we follow the same trends as everywhere else, including the awful Ugg one!
how is the weather? how hot does it get in summer?
Summer weather isn't great, esp since global warming kicked off! It's too warm and rains a lot and is really humid! But the rest of the year is pretty stable, not too cold, kinda wet, not much snow ....just always have an umbrella with you! :D

@the-endof-theworld.xanga I'm very happy being an Irish Catholic thank you!

@snapeful.xanga/ Thanks for your support comment ...it means a lot considering I'm getting so much abuse on the post's comments! I don't mind people arguing the point, but it just gets to me when they get personal and use offensive language ...there really is no need for it! It's rude and tasteless!
